Laboratory of Three-Dimensional Nanostructures (LTDN), Institute of Semiconductor Physics (ISP) of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russia. The LTDN scientific activities primarily focus on two research areas:

  1. fabrication of free-standing 3D nanostructures and studying their properties;
  2. materials science and semiconductor technology (capacitance, microwave and transport methods).
Staff members of LTDN have widely experience in studying super-thin (to 3 ML) free-standing single-crystalline films and in forming from them 3D nano-objects. The laboratory actively collaborates with other research departments of the ISP concerned with MBE growth of Ga/InGaAs, InAs/InGaAs, SiGe/Si and other heterostructures and with HRTEM-studies of nano-objects.

Research

     Transport properties of two dimentional electron gas on cylindrical surface. We suggest to research an influance of

  1. a surface curvarture and magnetotransport (especially ballistic) in two dimentional electron gas;
  2. surface concavity and convexity on spin-orbit interaction in two dimentional electron gas;
  3. thin film conductor space form on electron-phonon interaction in it.
